    Default Gift of a free car for us

    I am so happy! My mom and step-dad decided to buy a new car today, and rather than trade theirs in (2000 Dodge Intrepid), they are GIVING it to us! The car is in perfect shape. This will give us a second car for the first time in years. It has been a real challenge getting by with one car with both of us working AND going to school. Today, Molly got sick right after riding the bus to school. I was home, as I had the day off, but no car. DH had our car at one of his two jobs (20 miles from here). He had to leave work, pick her up at school, bring her home, and drive back to Wichita. It cost him 90 minutes of pay, since he is an hourly employee, and had to clock out to do this.

    Whenever I have business or errands to take care of in Wichita, I have had to get up early and take him to work at 5:30am, then I usually stay in the city while he works, pick him up at 2:00pm, and drive home. Not anymore, YAY!

    thats exactly like my car!! same year and everything. - very roomy back seat and HUGE trunk. I think its a very solid car. I have never had any problems with mine

    Step 3: to follow, won't know aim until things settle
    Step 4: to follow, currently at 6%
