    Default Girl Scout Cookies

    Hoo-boy! It's Girl Scout Cookie selling season. Julia brought home her order form yesterday. I always take it to school and Rob takes it to work, but we can never resist placing a big order of our own. I LOVE those cookies!

    Love the mint! But my absolute favorite were/are Trefoils. The shortbread ones. But in my day they were called Scot Teas and had sugar sprinkeled over them.

    Mints here too...but have to be eaten straight from the freezer , and coming in a close second is the Peanut Butter Patties! Hope this means the kids in church tomorrow will be selling!!

    I think I like them all. lol DH likes Thin Mints, he keeps them in the freezer and eats them cold. This year we have a new cinnamon cookie that comes in those little individual 100 calorie packs.

    This is DD's second year to sell, she is in her 2nd year of Brownies. I am the Cookie Mom this year. I hope I don't regret volunteerint. I just picked up all the stuff last night and we are going to sell to the neighbors in just a bit.

    DD's goal this year is 200, she wants the tshirt. She did it last year so I am sure she can do it again.

    This year our troop is participating in the program where people have the option of buying the cookies and the cookies are sent to the soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. It is such a wonderful program!!!

    Ours is doing that too! I think it is called Troop to Troop. I think it is a great idea.
