    Default sad day for me.

My Grandpa died this morning. He went very quickly and painlessly. I don't know what to do. It feels like everyone in my family is passing so rapidly. I am heartbroken. I just don't know what I am doing or what i am supposed to do. And I am doing this at what might as well be a million miles away. With no hope of getting there. Instead I get to deal with it alone, here. My father called (no idea how he got my number) and told me "Your grandfather died today, don't call". I called because I hadn't gotten that call. I had instead gotten a call from my brother to call on his own cell phone or to call at my grammie's house. so i did. And i talked to my uncle and my brother. I don't know what i was supposed to do.

I would say, do what feels right for YOU to do.
be that hop on plane & go, sit at home & remember your grandfather and the great memories, and happy times.

I'm very sorry to hear that this happened.
Just feel in the moment, and each moment/day will be just a tiny bit easier than the previous. "one step at a time..." so to speak.

But, just FEEL... is my recommendation.

    (((((((((((((((((((((((hugs))))))))))))))))))))))

    This too shall pass...

I am very sorry for your loss...
We lost my Pepaw this year and our dear little 14 year old niece. Now my mother is fighting cancer and is at a hospital 3 states away. We can't afford to fly and driving takes a good 12 hours. We will go as needed but I understand how hard it is when your loved ones are so far away. ((((Hugs!)))) I just prayed for you to have peace in this situation....blessings!

Missy I am so sorry for what you are going through right now. Just remember you are not alone you have all of us. It is hard to go through something like this. When my Mom died I was giving birth to my second son and wasn't able to make it to her funeral. Take it one day at a time and do what you feel that you need to do. Prayers and hugs.

    I'm sorry Miss.
It's not right or fair but it is what it is & it hurts. Take time today to cry, scream, punch a pillow and even laugh. Keep those good memories close, nobody can ever take them away and they will be there anytime you need to know you are & were loved.
What can you do...talk about your loved ones with the kids, let them know who they were and how they meant so much to you. Bring stories up often and smile knowing that through the telling of these stories they will go on & on.
