I do the same thing! I have to make a daily "to do" list or half of everything (all of nothing) gets done.

I make daily to do lists, also. What I don't get done one day I add to the next day and eventually it gets done. If I don't do it this way, I totally forget for a while what I needed to do LOL!

I am the queen of lists. I make lists of everything. I am more apt to get something done if I have it written down in black and white. You have a great plan with your cleaning schedule. I may have to borrow it and try it out.

*lol* i'm the same way .. i get distracted from one task to another very easily and then just stand there going what the heck was i needing to do in the first place and it totaly excapes me!! I am to young for alzhiemers !!*LOL*

Joe has realized that about me and will see me go to do something else and comes and gets it from me and tells me to finish what i am doing or if i have gotten side tracked will tell me what i was supposed to be doing in the first place instead of me standing there for 20 minutes going what the heck was i doing?

I mean i could go from washing dishes to getting the ferrets water to realizing my blankets on the chair so taking it to the bedroom and then seeing a sock so i gather up laundry and put it in. I get scattered very quickly. Obviously.

Boy am I happy I am not the only one that has this problem. I found it really challenging to stay only on one task. Maybe I do have ADD
Oh well as long as I work on it and try to keep it under control

OR we're all reluctant to do what we HAVE to do on a regular basis. Its a mundane routine no? Regardless, it still has to get done. Im the same way - I start somewhere and end up on the other side of the house with a few things on the go and none of them complete by the end of the cleaning period.

I use a spiral bound mini notebook - fits in purse but too big for a pocket - and I break 2 pages (facing each other so it opens like a calendar) and jot down what I NEED to do this week - Sun, Mon, Tues, Wed are on the left Thurs, Fri and Sat on on the right. So its a week's view at a glance and in I plop my daily chores and appointments etc. I guess you could use a weekly/week at a glance calendar but sometimes I only need to plan out 3 days and then there are tough times when I have to plan the entire week - exactly down to how many mins of exercise, laundry, grocery, swimming and reading LOL I also have pages for budgeting my upcoming pay - how to divy it up etc. Things I am interested in reseraching, trips to mock plan and things I need to and want to buy - they all have their own pages....lists are WONDERFUL!

OP - I'm glad you found a system that works for you! Keep at it and your house shall be clean!
