    Default What??? $3.00 a dozen of eggs is what our local convience store is charging...

    that is just plain nuts! I told the clerk they could keep them as I wasn't paying that price for 12 freaking eggs...

    Yep they are $2.78 here for medium. I can't wait until my two quackers start laying again!

    Yes.. I was thinking of having a few chickens but my dh doesn't want to.

    I hate chickens personally but my ducks lay good BIG eggs.

    I llike having 2 eggs for breakfast daily but yikes!

    My local Walgreen's has them on sale for $1.50. I am going to stock up!

    I was telling Fiance just yesterday.
    I want 10 more hens.. ( no more roosters )I think I'll go get them in April..

    I stock up on them everytime they have their sale on them. I cook eggs for the family every morning (8 eggs a day minimum) so we go through several dozen a week.

    Right now the best price on eggs I can get is $2.87 for a dozen and a half.

    Kroeger has eggs 2/1.50....tomorrow I'm going to get a bunch...I'll keep out what we will be using and freeze the rest!!!!!!!!!!!! So I have an "egg project" scheduled for tomorrow!!!Katy

    I didn't know you could freeze eggs???

    the average non-sale price around here is $1.99 for regular, $3 for free range / organic eggs
