Default Internet Shopping and then picking up at your grocery store Q...

I was wondering if this still went on .. i know when i was in HS i had a teacher who would shop online and pre buy her groceries at lower prices then you would scan a ticket through the register and her items and then any coupons she had. She would use internet coupons, newspaper coupons, and instore coupons. You would see her walking up and down the isles taking a few of all the coupons in the store to see what she could find for her next shopping trip.

She did AWSOME BTW her shopping trips were name brand everything and she would spend $20-30 for a buggy full. ( i know because i used to check her out at our local Foodlion, i never did ask her where she went on the net back then but i was definately interested )

Ah, I remember those days - was part of priceline.com. Gone...gone..gone to the cyber graveyard.

I know our Bi Lo does this......you order online and when you get there it is all packed and ready for you to leave. I have not done it though so I dont know if there are other fees involved...

Albertsons started doing this a few years ago, but I think it fizzled out. We do have several local produce co-ops that do home delivery though.

Harris Teeter does pick-up (your coupons are applied to your next order), Safeway does delivery (coupons are accepted by the driver), Giant-Peapod (does not take coupons for delivery)

It was great while it lasted. You had to be organized and know your prices, but it was worth the time spent.
