Wild and Windy Wednesday

Oh man is it every windy here. Ugh. It's supposed to snow today as well.

What's everyone up to? For me it's another day of doing the good clean around here. I like to clean from top to bottom once a month and then just maintain the rest of the time so I'll be:

~cleaning 3 bedrooms (starting with the webster knocking down any cobwebs, dusting the ceiling fans, window blinds and then all furniture, cleaning mirrors and then vaccuuming).

~doing a short workout

~shower/hair/makeup/clothes

~fix a salad for Gripey for dinner

~I'm off to my belly dancing class tonight (wish we had a belly dancing smiley!)

Trying to button this place up. They are calling for Lake Effect Snow then Fridgid weather this weekend thru Wed. This old farmhouse has no insulation..
Our wood pile is getting very down already and I need it warm in here.
My arthritis doesn't handle cold very well.

I want Spring.. Any groundhog says different on Feb 2nd is gonna meet his maker.

Just watched the weather channel and its suppose to be dangerously cold here. Tomorrow it is supposed to be 9 degrees for the high & -10 for the low.......brrrr!!! So i will be hanging out inside today & the next few days. My son has a indoor soccer game tonight, but other than that its cleaning house & deciding whats for dinner. Have a good day everybody

It's bright & sunny here. Cold as all get out, but the sun is shining. I'll take it

Already done:
~30 min workout
~upper body weights and crunches
~emptied hamper
~washed one load of laundry
~put away one load of laundry
~decided on dinner
~picked up the house
~made the bed

Still need to:
~call the college about my classes
~pick up the kids from school
~vacuum the downstairs
~help the boys pick up their pig sty - er bedroom

Going to get 85 mph winds here........cold
spent all morning at the Dr. Waste of time. It was the lung speceilest(sp) Don't like him. Now its time to get in bed and cover up......... I'm cold

Cool and Breezy here in S. Florida only up to 70 today. Cooler as the night comes on.
Made a pot of chicken noodle soup
Wrote 2 letters
Feed fur bags
Ran the spiffer around livingroom and found a puppy!
Emtpied dishwasher
Went to PO with DH
Took 2 hours to read my book
Picked up kids from school partial day today
Defrosted chicken legs for dinner
Quiet evning at home

It is cool and rainy here - yuck!!!

I had intended to do nothing today since I have spent the last two days in the dentist wit DS getting his check up and preventive treatments done. However, it just did not work out that way.

My mom called and asked if the kids had a Wii. When I told her no that we just got the xBox 360 instead she said for me to go get them one. So I spent 30 minutes trying to find a place here that had one instock. Finally Gamestop said they just got a shipment. Headed that way, but my gas light came on so I had to pump gas (I hate to pump gas). Then when I went to get money out of my mom's account the ATM was broken so I had to search for another. Finally got to Gamestop and got the last one.

Now DS is setting it up and I am going to attempt to be lazy for the rest of the day.

Grandma will pick the kids up for church later this afternoon. Getting them to go tonight will not be easy since they have a shiney, new toy.

Walked this morning, cleaning the rest of the day. Things have been off schedule since Christmas! Ran out to get some ice for the porches(Snow coming) and the terrace. After supper I want to relax, maybe watch a little TV or read. Have a great afternoon!

Sunny, dry and cold here - the sun on the snow is blinding!

Today is a no spend day which is great but severely limits my excitement. I bitterly washed some dishes that didn't wash themselves yesterday, cleaned the stovetop, started some laundry that I will also probably finish ALONE (can you tell someone is in the doghouse?), swept, and washed the yucky stuff under the fridge. I broke down and turned the heat up while doing chores, because after dropping the kids off I pretty much cocooned myself on the couch I was so cold. I figured a little heat was a good investment. Worked a shower in there somewhere. Now it's work, home, maybe finish Twin Peaks, and then get up and do it all over again in the AM. I already loaded up & programmed the coffee maker for tomorrow. Maybe I'll hit the gym in the AM - just couldn't muster the energy today!

Worked a hard day, dealt with a super pissy co-worker and now am just trying to relax after dinner....I know I have more of the never ending laundry to fold and I have a coffee date later ... I think I am going to try to declutter somewhere and purge things and then head out.
