Dh is going away for the weekend!!

With dd8. That means 1 thing....

TIME TO RE_ORGANIZE SOMETHING!!!!

He's come to expect it..lol. He whines to all that will listen that I move things when he's not here. It's always for the better, but he'll never admit to that..lol

Although this time it'll only be my workspace, it lays in shambles from the Christmas rush. Now it's time to re-organize it into a functional space again. It is BAD. I'm ashamed to say..lol

They leave at 10 am on Friday. Meaning at 12:30 Friday, the adventure begins!(babies will be napping by then..lol).

I have some many projects I want to work on, but my space is cramping my style! So I'm focussing all my energy this weekend on cleaning it up. I have a few things I want to get going for business, so I need to get it done. It's too chaotic, I can't focus. So I'm going to get it done!!!\

Then i can focus on designing t-shirts, ornaments, hair accessories, handbags, pillowcases!! And make some patterns for sale, and some ebooks on other thigns!

Can you tell I have a little ADD?? ROFL.

WOOHOO!! No one to answer to! Just 3 sport sessions to accomodate. Going to see about shipping the elder kids off for sleep overs..lol. So I can pull some late nights and not disturb them.

I know how you feel. I love it when DH goes out of town to work. DD will camp out in her room or go over to a girlfriends to spend the night and I can get all sorts of things done.

Enjoy your time we'll look forward to hearing from you when their back.

I always waited till the kids were gone to throw out the kids old things, re due their rooms. Or even change furniture around when hubby took kids to meme's. His mother. Which wasnt very often but I always took advantage of it.

I thought it was just me that likes the "freedom" of a missing hubbie....hehehe--I can stay up late moving furniture or crafting and not worry that I will wake him.......

I don't like that he's gone. I don't sleep well. But I like the freedom! Catch 22.

He was home a month, off work... it drove me crazy! Now he's having to take his holiday days or he loses them, so he's working a 3 day week until March... Home Friday to Monday. Man, then he nags. lol. Of course both of those days are my busy days with the dayhome, so he gets restless and goes shopping! Grrrr.

I do agree with you, I don't sleep well at all, but I do like the time to catch up on things......and he has really long work hours and he is a light sleeper so it cramps my night movement, and I am a night person and I can really get a lot done......

Dh has left now

The babies are asleep. So now I have a little time to plan. I have contacted the insurance company, I'm due $600 and I haven't gotten it, so I faxed the info, hopefully next week it'll be here.

I'm going to be doing our taxes(prelim) today. Just to get an idea of what dh will get back, and what'll I'll pay..lol

My hubby works a lot out of town and about twice a month he has to spend the night. I LOVE IT!!!!!! DD and I climb into bed together and snuggle reading books to each other. Then, after she is asleep, I sneak downstairs and do some sort of crafting...mostly scrapbook! Plus, we always eat out when DH is out of town...it is our little treat.
