Default What's on your kitchen table?

    Nothing
Well actually, the kitchen eating area table just has a table cloth on it. I only keep it covered because the sun comes in the bay windows and I don't want the wood to fade. The formal dining room has just a huge glass container that has faux star fruit in it.

We only eat at the island unless we have company. I really try to keep all flat surfaces clear!

We eat in the dining room. The only things on the table out there are the tablecloth, placemats & snowman centerpiece.

I do have a table in the kitchen. It is used as a workspace because I have no cupboards or counters in my kitchen. On it is the crockpot, toaster, & food processor.

Oh my, lots. Hubby and I sit opposite each other and each have out own piles beside us and the table butts up to a big picture window with a ledge. Magazines, coupons, newspaper, mail. Jacks side has some wierd stuff like batteries, calculator ... Also have placemats, candle, flowers in vase. Holder for napkins , Pepper shaker, pens & pencils, lighter...
It's our "spot", lol & it gets cleared off for company.
Diningroom table is rarely used for eating at and is currently covered with a huge jigsaw puzzle.

We usually eat at breakfast bar. But on dining table, is always a cloth and a marble lazy susan. On the susan are napkins, cut glass creamer and sugar holder, salt and pepper shakers. I keep my Bible on the table, also, as we usually sit there after breakfast and read a Psalm together to start off the day. My reading glasses are with the Bible. Hubby puts the mail on the table each afternoon and we go thru it there. But nothing in the mail stays on the table.

    Default table

In the dining room, where we eat dinner, just a table cloth and a big hurrcane jar with a candle--in the kitchen it is kind of a bar with 4 stools that the kids eat snacks on and I use as a buffet when I have guests over, and that has a "catch all" basket, a t.v and a lamp for when they want to do homework there.....

We can't use our bar b/c darling Diva likes to jump on the stools and that allows her to access the kidtchen cabinets and well all heck breaks loose then *someone give me paience raising this puppy. So no barstools at the bar. We use to eat breakfast, snacks etc at the bar. The formal dinning is used for entertaining (like I really do alot of that Not) so on it has a throw with an elephant vase with a bamboo plant in it. The kitchen table has a matching lazy susan s&p set and usually placemats but at this time they are in the wash. I really fight to keep all these surfaces clean b/c EVERYONE likes to use them as their dumping ground.

As you can tell from my Photo Avatar, my cats like to get on the table quite often. LOL.

Right now they are not on the table, but I have placemats and a candle centerpiece.

    I don't have a kitchen table... don't have a dining room either

Right now we are eatting on the coffee table. My kitchen is too small for a proper table because of the additional counter/working area I added in the remodel. I had planned for a certain kitchen table to be added... but they stopped making them... we are moving around the livingroom so I can make an eatting area.
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

Our Kitchen table has a table cloth on it as well as a lazy susan. The lazy susan has a napkin holder, salt & pepper shakers, and a candle on it. The fruit bowl is also on the table as well as a loaf a bread. Sometime there are flowers on the table. We also keep a devotional book on the table.
I try hard to keep clutter off the table, however my DH tries hard to keep clutter on it. This easier in the winter, because we eat at the kitchen table. In the summer we eat at table in the basement where it cooler.

We don't have a kitchen table. We have a long breakfast bar on the island and the kids eat there for breakfast, lunch and sometimes dinner when DH is working a 24. Otherwise we eat as a family in the dining room which usually has nothing on it but 2 candles. Sadly, I've been busy and my coupons and some ebay things are on it right now.

I wish we had room in the kitchen for a table!! We have a dinning room and the table out there just has a runner on it right now! I cleared it off and am trying to keep everyone from dumping their stuff on it!!!!
