Todays Bargains
I went to CVS today, I only picked up three things, but I did really well. I got:
1 Glade scented oil plug in fan originally $7.99
2 Glade Scented oil candles w/ refill originally 6.99 each.
-$2.00 fan coupon
- buy one get one free Scented oil candles
- $4 off $20 cvs coupon
- $10.00 ECB
total out of pocket .70 cents(tax).
PLUS:
I got a $3 ECB for fan Plus I have a mail in rebate for a free scented candle.
Ill end up MAKING $9.30 of the deal!
Yesterday I noticed that I had a coupon for $7.50 off a Pur water filter system. Today, while standing in line at the pharmacy, I noticed a clearance table out of the corner of my eye. I stepped over to check it out, and saw a Pur water system, originally $35 on sale for $17.50. Combined with my coupon I got a $35 system for $10. Now that I wont be buying gallons of water anymore, Ill figure Ill save about $120 a year.
Woohoo!

Oh and I got a $2.50 off any pain reliever or sleep aid at CVS. Combine that with one of the $2.00 coupons that I have and I should be able to get something free.

ECB=Extra Care Bucks....great program!! There's a thread about CVS in the "Freebies and Bargains" section that gives more info. If you plan well, you can "roll over" the bucks you get back to buy more things that generate ECB's, so you'll pay minimal OOP(most of it on your first trip). If you combine a sale item that gives ECB's with a manufacturer's coupon(and even some printout coupons of $X/$XX) you can make a profit. You can even use your ECB's to buy Sunday newspapers!
