Hello from Georgia
Hello all,
I am excited to find this board. I have been somewhat frugal for most my life, but lately I am trying to step it up a notch. I have finished The Complete Tightwad Gazette, in 10 days! I ate that up!
We (I) cook from scratch.
Have been using a breadmaker, but just got a stand up mixer so I can start doing real bread.
Started doing the Grocery Game (not completely sold but getting there) and couponing.
Would like to get started doing the CVS extracare bucks (moneysavingmom.com) soon.
However we do buy somethings organic (there is a list out there that has pesticides by fruit/veggie) like spinach, apples, celery, potatoes and carrots, so my grocery bill is still at 100 a week.
I haven't officially started my price book, I already did a lot of calculating in my head, but I am ready to start really getting things straight and buy in bulk.
I shop at Kroger, Trader Joes (for the organic veggies, non RBST cheese, organic yogurt(hope to start making my own), wild caught fish and Walmart and oh yeah, Aldi's for somethings.
Would love to meet others frugal moms in Georgia or even the atlanta suburbs area!
Peace!
