    Talking We went 'shopping' yesterday

The Old Man and I had a day out yesterday. It was the first 'date' in a very long time. We grabbed my digital camera, jumped in the car and went to IKEA for an afternoon of 'dream house' shopping. In other words, look at the things we like and someday when we have the money...

While we were there, we did actually buy things... which we hadn't planned on, but things that we were going to need anyways.

1 pack of gift tags - .05 (on sale from $3)
    4 pillows - $1 each (on sale from $4)
2 computer desks - $9 each (on sale from $35)
1 set cutting boards 2/$1.99 (regular price)
1 glass bowl - 2.99 (regular price but Old Man really wanted it)

While we were there, we did make a few decisions about the furniture we need (we currently have no sofa, chairs, eating table... ) we saw a sleeper loveseat thing, not sure what to call it. It's foam and pulls out to be a bed. Comfortable enough to sleep on for one night and a major turn-off for any lingering house guests It's only $120, and we can get 2 of them for the price of one of the other loveseats we were looking at. We also found the eating table we want... we are making strides!

Now to get this place emptied out (how in the world do we have so much stuff in here when we have next to no furniture?????) and painted so we can get the new stuff!
I can't be out of money... I still have checks left!

Great deals. I LOVE IKEA! I wish we had one closer to us. I think 1/2 the furniture in my house is from there.
