I'm a bit crazy from dealing with it... I don't want to do ANYTHING!!! I have to MAKE myself do anything the last few weeks! Today was cloudy & it's supposed to get MUCH colder than it's been... However, I do notice I do better if I go outside for an errand or whatever! I will need to go get some fresh fruits & veggies tomorrow... so my blues shouldn't be toooo bad tomorrow!

I've been struggling, too. I'm trying to blame it on my new job and PMS, but it sure has been a struggle.

Yep, the cold and rain is sure getting old here. We've gotten 3-1/2 inches of rain since last Thursday, and it's been cold and windy here too. They say it will rain again tomarrow. 31 and windy here this morning, so it felt like 26. Daisy (Bloodhound) loves the cold, and tries to head to the pond for a swim every time I walk her. I sure do miss my goats, but I don't miss the cold mornings when I had to go out to water and feed up.

I've got a horrible head cold and a sore throat so I've been spending most of my time under a blanket on the couch. My house needs cleaning, but it will all still be here waiting on me when I feel like tackling it again. I manage to do the laundry, cook meals and that's about it.

It's not that cold in Belgium, but I sure do miss the sunshine!

I've got a new cold (last week's cold was nearly gone, I just had to find a new one), and my shoulder blocked due to couch-potato-ing in front of my computer when I'm supposed to sit up straight (I'm a secretary, so basically every day I spend around 5 hours in front of my computer screen).

Yes, I'm sick of winter too. My grandmother used to say that the cold hurt her bones and now I'm beginning to 'get that'. Hang in there, won't be too much longer now........

Kj, if you'd wear socks and shoes your feet wouldn't get so cold.....
(I read that you do your chores barefoot....right?---maybe not in this weather, eh? Sorry had to poke ya )

I swear 2 days ago on my front porch I saw the biggest fly on the house. I thought surely he was just frozen there. I poked at him and he FLEW AWAY! I couldn't believe it. So I'm thinking the cold is really good for nothing now.....

The ice age wouldn't put a dent in the swamp skeeter population here in Georgia. It's now warmed up to 54 degrees here and I see them swarming on the back porch.

LOL, I DO cover the feet this time of the year, but as soon as it hits 60 the shoes are gone!

Windy and snowy earlier today, now just drab but a balmy 26 degrees, almost feels warm!

I just keep reminding myself that spring IS COMING! Every day is a bit longer, a little more daylight.

I was diagnosed with S.A.D. years ago and always dread the fall and winter. This year it hasn't been so bad though. I read that the main cause of S.A.D is less sunlight, which means less vitamin D. At the end of last summer I started taking vitamin D pills along with calcium daily and I still am. It's made a huge difference.
