Hi, new here ...
Hi I'm Katrina. I live in BC Canada. I am married with 3 children (6, 4, 1) and I have been a member of this forum for a bit but I don't remember if I"ve ever posted here before. I found it once doing a search for Dave Ramsey. Anywho, I'm hoping to reduce our spending and debt and become more organized. We currently have a fair bit of debt and no savings so we need help. I was just browsing the forums and I know that I need to set up a budget. One of the huge problems is DH has spending problems and doesn't want to make any sacrifices (ie cable, truck, etc). Another problem is that I have always been in charge of paying bills and such and I have not been staying on top of it very well. I'm hoping that by writing up a budget I can spell out to DH what we need per month and give him an allowance out of the rest.
I know we use our debit cards too much.
I've also been thinking of getting a work from home job doing data entry or something if I can find it. Since I still have 2 children at home (one has special needs) I would rather not find daycare.
Looking forward to getting organized financially with you all.

Welcome to the village!. I'm new at this too. And DH and I have spending problems. One thing that IS important is to make a real budget together (yr husband and you) and stick to it!.
I visited Vancouver and Vancouver Island on 2006. They are very nice places!.

Welcome Katrina!
" May we never let the things we can’t have or don’t have or shouldn’t have spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness, let us not forget it. One of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have."
