    Default We went Ballroom Dancing!

DH's company hosted a gathering for its employees last night. It was in the ballroom of one of the older hotels in Baltimore.

We had a blast. There was a hot buffet and beginning dance lessons were included. The dances last night were the Chacha and the basic Swing step. The instructor was very good. The atmosphere was excellent and we had an incredible workout. I think his company is interested in doing it again in the future as well.

Each week they focus on 2 different dances and we are thinking of going back for a "date night"/work out. Combined, the total is close to $40 but that it includes and hour lesson and dinner for each of us and an hour of dancing (if we still have the energy) and parking. It would make our budget a little tighter but we both had so much fun. I'll be clearing our front room today so we have a place to practice the steps we learned.

OH HOW FUN!!! Isn't it fun to step outside the box and enjoy yourself that way?

And really that's a VERY good deal when you think about it, I bet just normal dance lessons would be more than that, and with this you also get dinner and LOT'S of social time.

    I say go for it!
