New to this board!
I've been hard-core couponing and stockpiling for a year now. I belong to several other coupon trading/deal sites, but I love all the frugal information here.
I'm Jenna, 27, married to Josh, 28, for 8 years. We have a 5 year old daughter and a 16 month old son. My husband is Active Army, currently on recruiting duty, and I'm staying at home with the kidlets for now. This gives me lots of time to hunt down deals!!
We just paid off our one car payment last month (yayy!) and this year, need to build up our savings account (which currently sits at Zero - every time we put money in there, we have to transfer it back). My husband just came up with a great solution to curb his spending habits - we opened up a separate checking account for him, and that's his "allowance", if you will. All work lunches, entertainment, and misc. spending comes out of that account, which gets a set amount every payday. This will greatly put my mind at ease, as DH loves to swipe our joint account card and doesn't look at totals!!
Anyways, sorry for the long story, but this is our goal and I think I'll find lots of good ideas here to help us make it!

Welcome to FV!
" May we never let the things we can’t have or don’t have or shouldn’t have spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness, let us not forget it. One of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have."
