Neighbors kid again, OMG KIDS!!!!!!!

Most of you know my saga with the ijit neighbor with multiple kids, her boyfriend and all the troubles. Well the 13 year old just really raised the level on getting in trouble!!!!!!

Not long ago he'd gotten caught smoking pot in the bathroom and with pot in his locker, now this kid is all of 13 and in 7th grade! He got 2 weeks suspension and counseling. But is that the end of it? NOOOOOO!!!

He got suspended again, this time for 3 days, but the reason? OMG He gave another kid a:

TATTOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know anything else, just that he gave him a tattoo AT SCHOOL!!

I'm just dumbfounded, jaw hanging, in disbelief! I'D KILL HIM!!!

And this is NOT A BAD KID!!! THIS IS JUST A KID THAT IS NOT GETTING ANY ATTENTION AT HOME!!!! His moms got a new boyfriend and a new baby so this kid is just LOOKING for attentiion!

OMG, still speechless!

Wow, I was a bad kid in school but I would never have done that...the mom needs to wake up.

Wow, too bad for the kid. He is a felon waiting to happen. Hope someone steps in and mentors him before its too late. Obviously mom isn't going to fill that roll. Then some day she will shake her head and say "I just don't understand, he's always been such a good boy, he coulnd't be responsible for doing this..."

OMG! I have never heard of such a thing happening. That's insane. Poor kid...it's sad that he's become that starved for attention. How awful.

Two weeks suspension for the pot but only THREE DAYS for tattooing another kid?? That could be a health risk for the other kid. I know the pot's illegal, but at least he's only hurting, and involving, himself. On the other hand, with no discipline at home, it's probably a three day holiday to him.

It's really sad. And it makes me angry how society so often blames the kids when the root of the problem is adult irresponsibility, selfishness, and stupidity.

Around here pot will get you kicked.No questions asked at any age.

As far as the Tatoo well thats just dumb but kids have been doing that for a long time. I am sure it was done with ink from a ball point pen and a sewing needle. Those aren't deep enough to cuase any health problems. Howver if I was the receiveing kids mom I would be furious.

WOW!! I'm trying to imagine how they were able to do the tatoo while at school. No one noticed this was going on. And the pot. At the county schools here... ANY illegal substance and you are removed from the school and not allowed to attend any school in the county. There is an alternative school or you get homeschooled.

We've done all we can for the kid, I've even talked to the school counselor about my concerns, she agrees he IS a good kid, and she knows the family and what's going on. I think part of the reason they went so easy on the pot was to get him back in the school where he'd at least get SOME attention.

Until a year ago we spent a lot of time with this kid and his brother, they ARE good, smart, bright, intelligent kids, yes, they can yank your chain but they were inquisitive, thoughtful and loved to learn and question. But when their mom took up with the boyfriend they started telling the kids that hubby and I are bad people, ugh!

Mom doesn't care about education, and she's her kids "friend", urgh. She's just happy to have a "man" (trust me, that's debatable) to order around and bring in money.

Yes, this kid is on a bad path. Heck, I even talked to their grandpa, he says "it's Gods will, it will all work out" and their real dad, he's done all he can to try to get custody, maybe with this he'll try again.

I know it's sad, but honestly all hubby and I can do is LAUGH (if we don't we'll cry), but one thing, we've learned NOT to ask what next, we're afraid to know!!

Oh, and when I called hubby at work and told him, poor guy gasped/choked/laughed and now has a piece of his bologna sandwich lodged in his sinus.

Well maybe the parents of the other kid will go after the mother of the kid that gave the tattoo....... My son was 24 when he got his first tat. my name. The kid that did it used a motor from a tape player. My son will be 30 and he has full sleaves.......his back and his sides. But now he goes to professionals......... I wasn't happy when he got his first tat. You would think the someone would step in and take the kids away from their mother

Hubby won't let me near her, he knows I'll snatch her bald and plant her face first in the manure pile!!

I can see his future .. getting suspended and counciling for having sex under the stairs at school... or beating another kid down a seldom used hallway... ect... all incidences that happened in my little country school when i was growing up.

Thats pretty sad... and i knew some of the kids that did that stuff they were poorer and their parents ignored them.. but then again the richer kids got in worse "trouble" but had the $ to get out of it
