Who is excited to see the mailman?

Okay, I used to dread going to the mailbox and finding bills but now love going to the mailbox!!! I still don't like to see the bills, but I like to see my balances going down!!

I am amazed at the change in my attitude. Taking ownership of your problems and deciding to do something about it makes every aspect of your life better! I've lost 25 pounds, am making a significant dent in my debt, my marriage is better and I enjoy the simple things in life again! So, I say bring it on mailman!!! I look at every bill as an opportunity to lessen my debt instead of an increased burden on my life. Just wanted to share and see if anyone else feels the same way!!!!

Me too! Me too!! I'm trying to get my electric down below $100 per month. This month I started doing my wash and dishes my hand to cut back even more. I have 2 cc that are almost paid off!! I hope to get them and maybe 2 more paid off this year.

I always like to get the mail. Everyone here does... everyone wants to be first home so they can check the mail. LOL!

LOL! I thought I was the only one who is now excited to get the cc bills in the mail. I used to dread opening them and now it's the first thing I open so I can see in black and white the progress I've made. It's funny what a change in attitude and a little action on your behalf can do!

I've been hanging on the door post waiting for the mail for the last couple of weeks. After moving I was anxious to see what a full month of utilities would end up being for the new place so I could do some actual budget projections. Last one, water, came Friday. I was so happy!

(Conclusion - untilities a little higher, rent is less, so I come out ahead. For the summer with air conditioning I should at least break even, so the news was good.)

I am!! Cause penpaling is one of my favorite hobbies...always looking forward to that next letter in the mail! But I enjoy watching the numbers go down on my CC statement, too!

I like getting samples, and coupons in the mail. I dont get any bills in the mail which helps. Some days I dont even check the mail and when I do its great. I toss most of it, file some, and deposit some survey checks! Its nice not to see bills, and yes I look forward to seeing mailman, as mine is hot! LOL
