    Default SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!

OK, so to most of you this is no big deal, but here in the Willamette Valley, any snow is a day to celebrate!!!

Weather forecast said a possiblility of snow rain mix earlier today. Last night at about 4 am it was raining. By 7am there was at least an inch of snow on the ground. It is STILL snowing-no rain and it looks like we have about 5-6 inches of snow now. That is a lot for here. It also seems like it will continue into tomorrow as well. OH BOY!!!

Went to the store to get lamp oil, and some other groceries and I am glad to say that I only "slid" twice and they were both going from a red light to a green light. I do not intend to do any more driving in the near future... LOL...

Needless to say the kids big and small are excited about this wintery weather. No school tomorrow is almost a given. Just thought I would share in our excitement. LOL...

My daughter took this about two hours ago, and it is still snowing....

I completely understand your joy! I have only been living in Colorado less than 1 year, prior to Colorado I lived in South Texas where it snowed once like 20 years ago. I get excited everytime it snows here...I feel like a kid about it...co-workers think I'm nuts since they have lived here a while and are used to the white stuff.

Oh yeah. Those that actually get excited can keep it to themselves! LOL

We got a tiny bit here. No ways near enough to delay school tomorrow!

We got some snow here too but not nearly enough to cancel school. It's definately slippery on the roads though.

See here in Eugene, where you all would consider a small amount, would be total havoc here... Some of us Oregonians just don't drive well in snow/ice...LOL... The snow has stopped and it is ever so slowly melting. It is supposed to snow/rain over night, which means that it will most likely be extremely icey in the am.. There is a "heavy snow advisory" in effect tomorrow until 4pm..So we will see how much more we will be getting...

I've had my fill of snow this year too. I'm glad you and the kiddos are excited about your snow though. I was probably excited sometimes about snow when I was a kid. I don't think I have been in years though. LOL .
