Killing radiating cold

Any ideas on how to cut back on radiation cold? My kitchen door is FREEZING. I'm putting blankets over the north windows(they haven't been replaced and are cold and drafty) but the backdoor is horribly cold. I can't seal it off as we have a pooch that needs access to do her biziness out there. But it's COLD out there. -56ºC with windchill, and only getting colder.

Ideas? Must be with stuff I might have here..lol. I'm NOT going shopping.

Do you have a big blanket you could drape over the doorway? I used to use a thick King-sized comfortor to cover a glass slider that our dogs needed to use to go out. It wasn't great, but it kept the cold at bay.

You also might want to take an old towel or blanket and roll it up and put it at the bottom of the door, that way it isn't to hard to take away and put back in place, it should help right away, along with the blanket over the door thing.

If you want to go all out you may want to hang a piece of some kind of tarp or plastic before putting up the blanket, that's what I do on our in wall air conditioner unit in the winter and it really helps alot.
