I finally did my first Walgreen's rebate :)
I told myself that this was something I was going to try this year - so I just did my very first Walgreen's rebate - and I did it online
I opted for the gift card (and I'll get an additional 10% because of that)
I'll let you know when it gets here
It was work, I won't lie - but it was fun and I think it was worth it (jury's still out on that one)
I purchased most items with coupons, so the savings is even better than just the rebate alone - I think I'll try it again in Feb.
I really like the fact that I can do it all online - that's a GREAT benefit!

I love putting it on the gift card. The 10 percent pays for the tax making it totally free! I have to mail my rebate in but in some states you can submit it online just like you do at Riteaid. I can't wait for them to allow my state to do it this way. I always worry about it getting lost in the mail.

Alabama was the test state for online submissions. Only once did I have an issue but they fixed it.
if you have coupons then sometimes they pay you to take it out of the store.

Congrats on your first Walgreens rebate. It's exciting isn't it? Have you seen the February book, it's even better!

~Cool! February's rebates are awesome! I have over $40 in free products for Feb already! I hope they offer online submission to everyone soon. It's even more more work to photcopy your entire submission and provide Walgreens with copies if your rebate doesn't come through(had that happen twice last year). Welcome to the wonderful world of rebates!~
