It was windy here last night. Gusts 40 - 45 miles an hour and rain. We needed the rain though.
I've cleaned the toilets, emptied the dishwasher, made up my bed, started a load of wash and I am eating my breakfast. Got both DDs off to school. I need to gather up the trash, vacuum the area rugs, vacuum my bedroom and finish the laundry. I need to make something for supper since I work this afternoon, that way everyone else gets to eat. LOL!

We had 50 mph winds yesterday, hail, rain, sleet, snow. Wind blew so hard that the snow slid in from the West sideways. Thankfully we didn't get any more than just a dusting. Temps were 73 at noon and a couple hours later, they were at 17. Today is 13 degrees, so we have a fire built to take off chill in house. Agenda today is to continue priming and painting. I do the cut-in work while hubby mans the roller. House is a total mess due to this. Have a school board meeting tonight (I'm on the local school board), and it's all about finances tonight, so will be quite enjoyable LOL.

Tried to take a nice lesurely walk this morning. Fought the wind and rain and shortened walk! Got medications, still need to take a shower. Pretty lazy day today. This afternoon will be meeting someone to get coffee.

~Windy all the way from Georgia to NY, huh? That's a big area! Today I'm trying to get my house in order because we'll be away for four days. Of course I also have to clean out the car and pack clothes and all that fun stuff that goes along with road trips. DH is excited about 'vacation'. Going away with the kids is never a vacation for me:-(.~

I've only got one daycare girl here, until the after school kids. I'm sitting here organizing my coupons, while she is making crafts next to me. Then lunch and her nap time. Tonight is dd's dance class, so we'll be rushing around.

It's almost dinner time here and my day is almost done.
It has been very quiet weather today although dull with a tiny glimpse of the sun. It is still quite dark in the morning at 8.30 am but it is definitely better than a couple of weeks ago.
Today I baked some cookies (trying to guard them so that DH can have a couple later - the kids are all over them), made meatloaf for dinner and did the usual exciting stuff - laundry, cleaning etc.
This evening we are going to the annual neighborhood meeting - should be great fun.*Avril*

Snow day so no school today...yay! I think I may be worse than my students hoping for a snow day. It is only the first one this year. I am spending the day catching up on laundry, reworking the budget and trying to figure out where else I can cut expenses! Plan to bake a loaf of bread and lower the programable thermostat by another degree today. Other than that....trying to ignore the sound of the howling wind outside!

Today is my day off so trying to get a few chores done this morning. A good friend of mine that I haven't seen since we moved is coming for a visit with her baby. We're going to lunch and a little window shopping in town. It should be a fun girls day.
