    Smile Finally posting an intro...

    Hi Everyone!

    I've been reading posts for a while, but have never posted an intro so thought I'd get to it!

    I'm Jeannie, single mom of 3 children. I have a grown daughter in the military, a 16 yo son and a 13 yo daughter. Lucky for me they are all great kids.

    I've been divorced about a year and although I'm one of the lucky ones in that I do get child support, my biggest problem right now is finding a job!! I was a SAHM for decades and now, even though I have a BA, I am having a time of it finding employment. It's almost depressing and it *is* discouraging! I really don't have any experience or modern skills! I'd love to start my own business, but don't have too much cash to work with as I don't want to spend what little I do have for emergencies. I can't do day care as I live in an apartment.

    Welcome Jeannie...you have joined a awesome group. Good luck with the job hunting. My friend has been off of work for 7mths, and she has a psycology degree.....finally just got a job substituting teacher.
