Anyone Watching The Rep Debate?

I am sitting here and getting angrier and angrier. I swear the networks want to make out decisions for us! It has turned into the John and Mitt show. Huckabee and Paul get about 30 seconds and are rudely cut off, while the other two go off in tangents.
I have seen them do this to so many candidates and it is a bit insulting to those of us who feel they would like to make up their own minds. I watch these to hear all of the candidates, not just those that are deemed worthy by network news stations.
OK off my soapbox.......

Most debates make me mad because I am a Ron Paul supporter and they hardly ever ask him anything. It really annoys me to no end.

Yes, I support Ron Paul as well. BUt fair is fair and they didn't give him or Huckabee any real airtime.

Ron Paul has had a "media blackout" from the get-go. I find that people don't even know who he is, or haven't heard his name...yet when they do read about him online, they say "Hey, I like that guy!!". I don't know why he has been pushed to the side...maybe because he makes sense and doesn't stand for any poop? He's not an "insider"?
The media has sold us "electability" all along...people choosing their candidate based not on issues, but on who the media tells them is the one most likely to win. If you love Candidate A, like Cand. B and hate Cand. C, but the media is telling you that B is the most likely to win...it's only human to give up the A you love, so as to not take votes away from B that would let C win.

It's pretty insulting to those of us who as I said would like to make up our own minds. DH and I were talking about Paul and why they think he doesn't have the electability. My thought was that it is because of his views. While people like them, in theory, they are a huge change from what most have seen in their lifetime. I think that scares people. Everyone agrees they want change, but maybe his change is too much? Not sure. But I like him and he talks sense, not in circles like so many of them do.

I'm an independent and I have found the debates (dem and rep) to be more frustrating than enlightening. I haven't decided which party primary or candidate I will vote for because the tube has left gaps of information out. My plan for today is to research the candidates on line. We also can choose to vote for a Libertarian primary candidate instead of D or R here so I have quite the list to go through. If you listen to the media there are only 4 people running.

I too am an independent and the debates make me mad. I want to hear from everyone running and I wish they would say what they want to do instead of taking pot shots at each other

I dont even like Huckabee and Paul and I was so angry for them last night watching the debate. It was wrong what CNN did to them. They got totally ignored and interrupted while Romney and Mccain were aloud to bicker back and forth for half the debate.
Leave it to CNN(Clinton News Network)

Well every debate is that way to an extent. It makes sense that the front runners would get more time. In every debate I've watched though( which is every one,Republican or Democrat) yhr underdogs(Edwards,Paul,Huckabee) haven't gotten near the questions or time they should have to prove their point.
I also think the moderators tend to be rather rude to Ron Paul. I'm not a Ron Paul fan and don't agree with a word he stands for but it is just uncalled for.
