Can I whine a little bit this morning? Please???
Well, my baby is teething. He is almost 8 months old. So far, he still isn't sleeping through the night. He also has an eczema flare up going on right now and he has reflux too!!! Well, night before last, I got MAYBE 1 hour sleep. I almost couldn't function yesterday. And last night, I was lucky if I got 3 hours. I am just so overwhelmed!!! Nicholas (my 3 y/o) goes to preschool, so I have to be up early in the morning. Even if my baby (Gregory) falls asleep, the noise of the morning wakes him up, so I can't go back to bed. BOOHOO!!! My husband is in the Navy, and his flight schedule is very hectic. This morning, he had to be out the door by about 5:30 or so, so he was useless last night when it came to helping me with the baby.
Oh well, just needed to get it off my chest I guess. THanks for reading! You guys are great!

Oh Amy... I'm sorry. If I was there I'd take him and let you sleep.

Is there someone nearby there that can take him and give you a little break?
Tyler is a good sleeper and hardly ever complains, and I am thankful everyday for that.
{{hugs}} Amy... if I can help, let me know.
AND you can whine to us anytime you want!! We're always here for ya.Sherry

i was going to say the same thing as sherry. is there anyone around that can take him for a couple hrs. so you can rest?? do you play any music during the night for him? we play a classical music station for our little guy at night...till he wakes up in the morning. i think it helps him to sleep better, and if he does wake up, he doesn't hear all the noise outside of his room. so, he usually goes back to sleep. hopes this helps! good luck!

I wish there was someone who could take him. We don't have any family around here, and I don't know my neighbors well enough yet. :0(
Maybe when Jeff gets home from flying today he can watch him for a couple hours. Wish me luck!!!

I remember those days well, you poor thing! Make sure you lie down when he takes his nap today- you'll be surprised how much better you will feel after a little cat nap. Hang in there, it does get better!!

I hope the day has gotten better, baby has slept some and so have you. It may sound crazy but I wish I was in your shoes..lol.. My daughter is now 18 and never around, at 35 I'm still young enough for another but have never been that blessed. If I was close enough you would always have a willing sitter!

Have you gotten ahold of any of the family services provided by the navy? If not-do that soon! They have lots of programs for new moms. In California-some have babysitting!!!! Plus you could get to know some other moms.
Rest as much as you can-and remember-you are now doing the most important job you will ever do.You will be blessed for it. Please give the baby a gentle hug and kiss from me.
Remember-these things too;shall pass
