Default Now for the important part...commercials!!!

What has happened to those hysterically funny, creative SB ads?!! Do they really pay those big ad execs 6 figure salaries to come up with that drek??!! I liked 3 of them
    1) the yearly Clydesdale, oh look now mom's gonna cry, ad. The horse who didn't make the cut, then the dalmation coaches him like "Rocky"....awwwww.
    2) the American Idol ad near the end, where the player was in the locker room singing "The Pina Colada" song.
    3) and my fave....the Macy's balloons fighting over the Coke bottle, and over the horizon comes Charlie Brown, who finally "catches one". Too clever.

I liked the Life Water one w/ the lizards dancing to the Thriller song. The e-Trade baby was cute, but the one where he puked was gross. I also liked the Bridgestone one w/ all the animals screaming lol.

I did not like the Will Farrell Bud Light one. Disgusting, stupid, gross. Of course, those are all things I find to be true about Will Farrell so....

I watched about 10 minutes of it. When the commercials stunk...I left the boys to it, and watched the Law & Order Marathon. The commercials were really dissapointing this year.

Besides some mentioned... I liked the Planters cashew one where the not drop dead good looking woman with a uni-brow had the guys all falling over themselves to get noticed by her, those men were in love. Then you find out why...

Let's hear it for the Beer & Coke commercials.......the only ones I thought were good.

I have been waiting for one to come close to the mean joe green ad.....but nope that's still the best ad as far as I am concerned.

My favorite was the clydesdale/dalmation commercial!

The Justin Timberlake/Pepsi commercial made me giggle, but the screaming forest animals (andRichard Simmons) was kinda funny too!

The preview for Narnia looked interesting.

I haven't watched all of them, but I really didn't like the Audi commercial; then again, I'm no fan of 'The Godfather'...

My all time favorite from a past Super Bowl was the Cat Herders. All of these rugged Marlboro-looking men on horses are rounding up cats and suffering the slings and arrows of disgrace as the cats scratched them, etc. Do any of you remember that one from the past?

This is the first year ever that I actually paid more attention to the game then the commercials (yea Giants!), and the only ones I remembered was the Thriller lizards and the e-trade baby, which were both really cute. I just saw the coke one on myspace though and that I think was probably the best.

I really got a kick out of that one, but WHAT was that half-dressed woman doing there??!! It just seems so unnecessary, and really had no part in the "story".
This is one of my favorite Clydesdale ads...check out the referees !
