    Default She spent HOW MUCH?

I was in Dollar Tree this afternoon. Everything's a dollar, right? The two young women in front of me still had a pile on the counter, but seemed to be getting through it when I got behind them. The checker scanned and scanned. I was more or less zoning out, but rejoined earth as she was nearing the end, and heard her say, "That's $189.29."

Holy Moly! At least it was party stuff. If it was all vases to be wrapped, I'd still be there!

I don't think I have ever spent more than $10 in that store at a time. I can't imagine buying that many items at once, or having the money to buy that many items at once .

Good Grief!!! That is a lot of $$$$ to spend there.

I do get all of my cards at the dollar store, they sell them 2 for $1.00 and have good/cute cards. I just can't spend more on something that someone will glance at and then throw right away.

I recently spent $22 and some change and felt really bad about it! I was buying decorations and prizes for dd's Valentine's Day party at school. That's an all time high for me.

I have seen people doing what looked like grocery shopping in there, and I bet they spent $30-$40. Was her cart overflowing?

Dang! That IS a lot!! Well, when we went on vacation last January I spent about $90 at the dollar store (including tax)...we don't have one here so I stocked up on items we use/need up here...we haven't had to buy some of our "regular purchase items" since then!! And it was things that cost 3 times more here...so, was a good deal. I'm afraid once we move south and have ready access to one I'll be in trooooouble!

Geez!! I can not even imagine. I don't think there are that many items in the dollar store that I would purchase at one time.

Wow! I could never spend that much and I love our dollar store. I usually stop in once a week and might spend $5-$10.
