ACK I just spent $193 at Victorias Secret!
Make me feel better! I paid cash, and I dont have any cc debt or anything, I just feel so guilty about spending that much money. The last month, Ive been going online and adding all this stuff to my cart, then exiting the page so Im not tempted. Its all stuff that I need, bras, clothes for work etcetera.Plus it was all on clearance. Maybe Ill feel better once it all gets here.....

Since you didn't add any credit card debt I'd say you'll be ok in your new wardrobe
I feel guilty when I spend a chunk of cash on me too....I think as women we're programmed to for some reason (well some of us are). Enjoy your new things, now get a grip

Caitlin, you need to enjoy those things you bought. You didn't charge up some big debt you couldn't pay off. Also, just think since you got them on clearance (and needed them anyway) you saved a TON of money. (Am I enabling here?!?) When you need to get some stuff might as well get it on sale. ENJOY!!

You see to me this is what being frugal is all about. You paid cash. You have to "treat" yourself or whats the point!

YOU PAID CASH! PAT YOURSELF ON THE BACK.
At the height of my credit card glory, I owed 1200$ on a Victoria's Secret store card.

That is good if you paid cash, needed the items, and got a good deal

You paid cash right? Like someone else already mentioned, you've got to treat yourself sometimes. That way you'll enjoy being frugal because once in a while you can afford to splurge.

To make you feel better, figure out how much you would have spent if it wasn't all on sale!

Yeah...what she said!!
Seriously, I used to feel guilty about getting my hair done at the salon I go to (it's expensive), but when Brian told me that I deserved it, and he didn't mind me spending the money on my hair (probably because I've always been thrilled with the results, and he likes seeing me happy!?! ), it really helped ease my guilt!
Anyway, congrats for paying with cash...that deserves a pat on the back for sure!!

Good for you for paying cash! A girl can't live without her brasierres (well she could, but it may not be pretty).

Hey...stop worrying, you did everything right as others have mentioned. Paid cash, did not accumulate debt and you got them on clearance. How can you not 'stockpile' if its a clearance sale and items are needed. Also, its not like they're going to go unused and collect dust correct?
Dare I ask? What did you get for the $193? Divide the # of items into $193 and see how much each piece works out to and then calculate the diff on each item as if it weren't on clearance. You saved THAT much!
Now go and enjoy
