    Default Wanna know what I got for Valentines day??

    eye infection.

    I have to go to the Dr today to get it seen. My own Doc won't see me because I don't have the copay. So I have a call in to the Urgent care clinic to see if they want me to go there or somewhere else.

    This sucks.

    I have to get it cleared up. Monday I have an interview that I really want to make a good impression at. And an oozing seeping red and gooey eye...isn't going to make the impression i want it to.

    Ok, if you can't go in, here's something we've used with great success. DS had chronic infections as a little one.

    Slice a tomato, and use the water from the tomato, DO NOT USE the orange tomato juice you buy. Just the natural watery juice from a cut tomato. Put on a cotton cloth and cleanse your eyes. This will help ease it. Hopefully you can get into the Dr soon. But the tomato water works in the interim.

    Depending on the kind of infection (bacterial or viral) they have the meds OTC. The sucky thing is, you have to go to the doc to find out which one it is.

    Eye infections are the worst.....right there for EVERYONE to see Anyway hope you get it cleared up and best of luck on your interview on Monday!!!
