AHHH MY CROCKPOT
I finally find a crockpot that I love.Has a removable liner and its the right size and everything.Today I am making a stew and I forgot to turn off the element on the stove before placing teh crockpot on the stove, guess it was too close cause I melted off the knob on the crockpot.I thought I could still use it but it was making a funny noise when I turned it on,guess I melted something else too lol
Ticks me off when I do stupid things like that

I'm sorry, I hope you are able to find a new crock pot soon. I love mine, I have a whole chicken and veggies in it right now.

Rats!!! I hate it when you break something ya really love using.
If you buy an identical item, maybe save the liner in case it breaks in the future.

OUCH!! thats the #1 reason i do not like putting the crock pot on the stove. If i have too i always put it in the smack dab middle.
My fav are the metal Crockpots.. which technically i guess aren't "crock"pots since they have no crock *lol*, but they are super nice because you can put frozen meat into them with out worrying about cracking your crockpot.
In fact i used a roaster same as a crockpot for YEARS with wonderful results!!

Don't feel alone I did the same thing. But now I have another one and I saved the old lid and crock. Now I have a handy dish for potato salad or stuff to take for meals away. I also save the dish out of my old microwave. Makes a great serving platter for all kinds of stuff.
