5 Ways to support Frugal Village
It's not free to operate FV. It's an ad supported site. While donations have always been appreciated, there are other ways to support the community and my effort to advocate frugality.
1. Spread the word. Tell people about the community forums.
2. Leave comments on my blog. (http://www.frugalvillage.net)
3. Shop through us on Amazon (http://astore.amazon.com/frugalvillage-20)
4. Don't block ads
5. Contact your local newspaper (email, call or mail your local newspaper managing editor) to run my Frugal Living column.
I want to thank members that have supported me and the site.
Community support is what allows this site to continue to be free and exist.
If you have ideas to improve the forums, let me know via e-mail or private message. I always try to implement ideas that members want.If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. It's internationally syndicated through Universal Uclick. Thank you for supporting Frugal Village.

Sara, Thank you so much for all that you do! I've gone and made some blog comments and plan to be more vigilant about my active support of the village.

You've always been supportive and I'm so appreciative. Some of the newer members might not realize how much you've contributed through the years, but I know and am thankful.
I appreciate the contest you're hosting, too. You're part of what makes the forums "still worth it" for me.If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. First...
THANK
YOU!!!!

I would greatly miss The Village if it were not around and I'm sure others would too.
2) A suggestion- I've been hanging around for well over a year and I didn't know a thing about the Amazon peice. You may want to bump this every few months.
3) A Question - How does commenting on your blog help financially???? I feel like I'm missing something.

I, too, love this place and now I know how I can help. I had no idea about amazon and I, too, am wondering about how comments on the blog help. I don't know much about all of this. Thanks for spelling it out!

3) A Question - How does commenting on your blog help financially???? I feel like I'm missing something.
It doesn't directly help financially. It's supporting my efforts of trying to grow readership. I receive a lot of feedback via e-mail and written letters from readers, but comments on my blog help grow my blog...My voice on line. Same with contacting your local newspaper to run my column. It increases readership. Those two things help me more than anything. If you'd like to help support Frugal Living by Sara Noel, my syndicated column, e-mail, write, or call the managing editor at your local newspaper and ask them to publish it in print or online. Love FV and I'll do my part to help support it. If I wanted to make a monetary donation is paypal best or what? I know every little bit helps.
Thanks!

I hope I didn't come across like hey! open your wallets. People ask me how they can help and these are the top 5 ways. I prefer to encourage members to help in free ways vs. spending money. With Amazon, I am not trying to sell. When I am trying to sell, I say so.
If you'd like to help, and are buying through Amazon anyway, you can shop through FV if you want. It's an option some members didn't know about.
thanks.

I love this place too and I come here daily. I also love your blog articles Sara, I forget to post comments after I read them. I will be better about doing that, especially now that I know it's helpful for you.
