Did i miss a holiday that would make gas sky rocket?

I think we are getting screwed too.

I live about 30 miles from most anything as well and I only go into town once a week to get groceries.

And this is why since my husband got a new job 40 minutes away and we are putting our house up for sale right now. He is spending over $100/week just on gas to get to work a week. That doesn't figure in the increase from this week.

I can't imagine using $100 in gas a week... we use maybe $30-40 when we have lots of out of town dr visits. Course my work from the house going over speed bumps then 4 stop lights and over train tracks is less then 10 mins so i use only $10 in gas going to work 5 days.
