I watched that on the news this morning. I think I would have had to walk in my house and punch her. (OK not really I wouldn't want to go to jail) The instant I saw that on the cam I would have been out of there and home to rescue my children before something did happen with her rough behavior.
I find it appaling that someone would treat babies that way...I know it happens all the time....it is just really hard for me to comprehend!!!

I saw that on the news this morning. I think I would have probably come completly unglued to see my precious babies treated that way.

I think I would have needed a police escort home so I didn't strangle the woman.
I would have been livid. I mean, who picks up an infant that way? who just lets an infant dangle by their leg or fall face first (and left there???) onto a couch??
I would have lost my mind.
I couldn't watch it thru to the end. Is the nanny facing charges?~~ Missy ~~

I can only imagine how I would feel if I had children and saw that happen to them. I would probably grab her by her shirt front and drag her out of my house and toss her on the lawn!!
I have worked for daycare companies before, right after I finished my education degree, and was so disgusted with how infants and toddlers were cared for. I could never leave any future children I might have with a nanny or sitter. It amazes me, what I have seen seemingly nice people do to other people's kids. It may be that they would do that to their own children too, but it still doesn't make it right. I only stayed a week in one daycare facility and a month in the other. I also ratted out any and all bad behavior I saw before leaving and of all the jobs I worked I liked it the least because of the lack of ethics people had in a position of extreme trust.

It was all over my local news since it happened about 30 minutes from me.
I literally shook with anger when I saw that. My DH looked at me and said "I know what you would have done to her if that was our kids...you would have beat the $^*% out of her". He's right. I probably would be in jail right now.
I think the part that bothers me the most is that the nanny isn't going to face any criminal charges. What are they waiting for...her to actually kill or permanently harm an innocent child?!?

The police had better get to my house first if it were my kids getting hurt. she'll never work with kids again, hopefully if enough ppl saw the taping.
