Default How often do you recieve sound advice?

My other post(baking with dried raisins) got me thinking surely I probably could have called and asked my mom, or my future mother-in-law who are absolutely wonderful people in which I talk to weekly.

Honestly how often do you ask for advice from the village versus someone who has known you your whole life? whether it be cooking or anything for that else about life for that matter. You can even give examples or stories of what you have encountered as well.

Sometimes when I am at the grocery store I will call my mom and ask her questions. She is a expert when it comes to eating healthy.(none of it rubbed off)

I will call my dad with my car questions.

Other then that I don't really call people for advice.
