Interview Update

Well... I had my interview this morning.

I thought it had gone really well... and then he said "I have other people to interview, I will get back to you sometime next week"

I left there smiling with my head held high... then I got in the car and cried. I hope I got it... I really hoped he'd toss a uniform at me and tell me to start tomorrow

I put more applications in when I got home. I put one in for a cashier at Sears. I wanted Kmart (since it's 2 minutes from my house) but somehow I ended up applying for the mall in the next town over. I have an interview with them Wednesday night at 7:30pm

I put in an application for the Old Man too... receiving/merchandise pick-up. He has an interview at 11:30am Wednesday.

I am not sure what they pay, what hours they have available, but at this point, we can't be picky... one of us has to be here for DD and he is the one who can do more labor-intensive jobs.

I will see how his interview goes and what hours they are talking about... I am going to put in applications to Dunkin Donuts for 7pm-midnight... unless they offer him a night position....

My head is spinning...

Good vibes going out your way! You will be hired for the job that you were meant to get, I strongly beleve in this. Sometimes the managers will say something like what you were told today just to give themselves a day or two just to make sure that they know they're hiring the right person. You both will have jobs in no time at all and please keep everyone updated, we are pulling for you!!
