Hi from NY
I'm really excited about this site and look forward to sharing with people like me
How did you hear about frugal village? - Sara's column appears in our local paper.
What interests you here? - Everything!
What will you contribute? - Whatever I can.
Do you know any other members here? - Not yet.
How many kids? Ages? - One son, 19
Tell us about yourself. - I guess the most important thing is that I LOVE being a mother and housewife. When my son was in preschool I volunteered in the classroom once a week, in middle school I chaperoned dances and field trips, in high school I was a volunteer coach for track and the statistician for the football team. It probably sounds like a lot to some but we have a great relationship and he has always enjoyed having us around. He's in college now and we attend all his football games.
With my son off to college I have more time for my quilting. I am a member of our local quilt guild. I take care of their website and handle the guild's publicity.
I work part-time in the summer at a local state campground. My husband works there full-time year round. My son also works there during the summer. It is the perfect job.
Do you own any pets? - One Maine Coon cat name Max and one Beagle named Slugger.
Occupation? - Homemaker
Married or single? - Married 27 years.
Interests and hobbies? - Quilting is my passion. I also like to write, cook, craft, swim, and go to the movies. I love football.
