I agree with everyone else about checking on her and checking on your return wityh the IRS yourslf. Something seems fishy. I do want to add though that we went to the IRS website this year and it said that $4200 was deposited into our account. We called the bank and the money never showed. Turns out it was taken for student loans. If you owe the government money, they could have taken it. I think they usually notify you first (ours was lost in the mail). I would still check on her though, cause it doesn't seem right that you didn't get a copy.

whew !!!!!!!!!!
glad you got it.
why dont you open a bank account with it? or use some of it to open an account, so you can cash checks in the future easily ( to not bank at walmart, does walmart do banking now ???)
and maybe too start a savings plan?

M55FF~ I do not normally cash my checks at walmart, but through the bank my checks are written from so i do not get charged if i go there. If i did start a savings account then Joe would still have to cash his checks at walmart, because you can't cash except whos name is on it and you couldn't get the money that day which our rent is due between the 1st-6th of the month. We get our rent $ from Joe's check.
Not to mention i do not trust banks... i have been screwed over several times by banks and do not wish to deal with it again.
