Hi, A little bit about me
Hi Everyone! My name is Jenn.
A brief introduction.... I have been checking out the forums for about 6 months now and finally decided to introduce myself. I like the positive vibe, information, and support around here.
A little about me: I'm an EMT - I and water safety/rescue instructor currently working in the emergency department. I also attend nursing school full time. Only 2 quarters till graduation, YIPPIE! Because school and work consume so much of my time and energy I have not been as frugal as I once was. I hope to get some motivation from you guys.
I currently live in Georgia. I enjoy backpacking and aquatic environments. My favorite backpacking destination to date is the Gila Wilderness in NM.
I have a pet Uromastyx Mali Lizard. He is as cute as he can be. His name is Talon.
Hope thats enough info about me for now.

Hi!
to FrugalVillage! I used to be an EMT-B (they did away with the EMT-I program here in Kentucky) but I let it run out because I wasn't using it at the time. Big mistake. I'm currently working on getting it re-instated. Hope we can cross paths in the forums sometime

Hi, welcome to the Village!

Have a pic of "cute as can be" Talon to share? Always love seeing everyones pets. You can post his pic in the gallery (link towards top of page) if you have one.

Hi Kyfirestorm,
I like the picture you have posted in your turnout gear. That brings back memories. Our class did haz mat training in the middle of July. I thought one of us would surely have heat stroke that week, lol. I know it's difficult to recertify every two years if you are not currently working in an EMS related field. I hope to see you around as well. We can swap frugal tips as well as "war" stories.
Hi Darlene,
I will definitely get some cute pictures up. My school break is during the next couple of weeks so I plan to do a frugal forums "cram study session" while I am out of school.
