    Default Greetings From SE Missouri



    Hi! My name is Debbie Kiefer and I'm from Marble Hill, Missouri.

    How did you hear about frugal village? - Did a search for frugal living and found you that way.

    What interests you here? - Everything! My husband and I bought our dream home 2 years ago and I'm doing my best to live on less.

    What will you contribute? - Anything I can.

    Do you know any other members here? - No

    How many kids? Ages? - Two sons, Jared (24) , Lucas (21) and Step-daughter, Kyla (15)

    Tell us about yourself. - I'm 47, born in the city but a country girl at heart. DH of 8 yrs and I purchased our small 5 acre farm two years ago when I had a great paying job. Unfortunately I lost that job and was unemployed for almost a year. Started back to work in October, only to lose my job again two weeks ago. I recently became a grandmother for the first time and am truly loving it!

    Do you own any pets? - More than my husband likes. We have a dog, two cats, five goats, 40 chickens, 2 guineas, 4 turkeys, 14 rabbits, 9 ducks and a pair of peacocks.

    Occupation? Currently unemployed.

    Married or single? Married 7 1/2 years

    Interests and hobbies? Tons! I love to sew and do embroidery which I hope to make a side job for extra cash this spring/summer when I do the local Farmer's Market. I also love to bake, read, take pictures and about a dozen different crafts.


    I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and making friends and sharing ideas.
