Songs Stuck In Your Head

Ever get a song stuck in your head? It just seems to go around and around? I don't know why it happens, and it might just be me. But right now, I have this ditty from a TV ad going on in my head. I've actually seen 3 versions of it, and it's for a free credit report of some kind. Anyway, in one version, these guys are dressed like pirates and working in a cafe, and singing about their credit report. In another, they are in this beat up old car and singing about their credit report, and in the last one they are remodeling a basement, and yep....... singing about their credit report.

Sometimes I get so into the music in my head that I am clapping and dancing and tapping to the rhythms that only I can hear.

What songs get stuck in your head, if indeed, such things happen to you???

*lol* Yes ... usually annoying Songs... i had brittany spears songs stuck in my head before and i just soooooo wanted to beat my own head in with a mallet !!

The most recient stick was the Bonnie and Clyde song from RushHour3 *lol*

I tend to get annoying songs from the kids' tv shows stuck in my head. Sometimes the only way to make it stop is to actually hear the song again- not sure why that helps, but it does.

I've told my dh that whoever came up with this little ad ditty was brilliant, cause I catch myself singing it all the time.

"I love you, you love me, we're a happy family..." I have a 2 year old granddaughter and this song just kinda sticks in my head whenever she is around LOL.

I love the free credit report commercials!

Singing "Insted of rolling fly and looking whack----my legs are sticking to the vinyl and my posse's getting laughed at!" Hahahaha makes my day!

the ditty that runs through my head frequently is the "new soul" song on the Macbook commercial. Like Amy said, if I just listen to the whole song, it goes away... for awhile.

I cannot get that song "I'm not gonna write you a love song...." out of my head. It's on the radio constantly and it's on every commercial for any t.v. show related to women. AARRGHH. I like it, but I like to sleep at night, too.

I get the weirdest songs stuck in my head. One of my students was talking about "Eye of the Tiger" and he kept humming it. All I could think of was the Starbucks commercial, "Glen, Glen, Glen, Glen, Glen, Glen, Glen, Glen, Glen, Glen. One day he will become.... supervisor." You can see the video on YouTube. They also have "Hank!"
