New, from Pa :D
Hi I'm Corinne, I'm 24 and I am currently living with my DBF of soon to be 7 years, Rob. We want to have kids some day (hopefully next year) so I am trying my best to try and get my credit cards paid off so I have less things to worry about paying each month. My new years resolution is to pay off as much debit as I can. So far I have 1 card paid off and canceled, I have 4 cards left but only one more of them are going for good. I am the one who takes care of the check book in the house hold. My DBF gives me the money to pay the bills and whats left is his. When I get paid I pay my bills and the utilities and what's left I put what I can in savings and buy what we need for the house. I have been learning how to stock pile I have a nice one going so far. Well it will be nice to get to know everyone and I'm sure you will learn more about me as time goes on.

That's what I want to do, I want to be able to work part time and stay home with the kids when we do have them. DBF makes enough now that we could pay the rent and utilities on his income but it's not enough. So that's why I want to get rid of as much as I can now. So that way next year when we start trying I won't have to worry much about the bills. I own my car, I bought it flat out and I hardly drive it since I live close to work. I have had it over a year and I only put about a thousand miles on it. When I first bought it I had some issues but my dad helped me pay for some of the things needed to fix it. But now I have a great working car and DBF has a loan on his but it's not much, he pays about $280 a month for it. He doesn't have any other bills but that one and a small loan with Citi financial.
I can't wait till we can have everything paid off and where we can start saving hardcore for whatever life may throw at us at that time. We need a new bed so that might be our big save once we pay off everything.

Hi Corinne &
!
" May we never let the things we can’t have or don’t have or shouldn’t have spoil our enjoyment of the things we do have and can have. As we value our happiness, let us not forget it. One of the greatest lessons in life is learning to be happy without the things we cannot or should not have."
