Tuesday March 18, What's everyone up to today?

~I'm having trouble getting motivated. I have way too much to do.
-laundry to fold and put away
-2 gifts to sew
-bread to make
-freezer to inventory
-fridge to clean out
-week's menu to make
-counters and cabinets to wipe down with bleach
-vacuuming in the bedrooms
-stripping beds and making up again with clean sheets
-dusting
-baking 2 batches of goodies for the freezer
-filing federal taxes

Ugh. Maybe I shouldn't have been so lazy last weekend.~

His tranmission went kuput and Its to expensive to fix so we're going truck shopping.

Sometimes it is hard to get motivated when you have so much to do. Try focusing on the "NOW" and it will be easier to get your work done. It can be overwhelming when you look at everything that needs to be taken care of. One task at a time is my motto.

I am actually having a lazy day today. All I have to do is run a few errands and I am done. Then I am going to read today and just hang out with dh and the cat's.

My dd and I are in Houston (visiting my parents) on Spring Break. The weather is supposed to be bad here today and my dd wants to go see College Road Trip so I think we will do that (on the matinee) and just "chill" today.

My kids are on spring break. Yesterday we went ice skating and chuck e cheese. today we are going to a "family fun center"....go-karts, putt putt golf, arcade. Today is the deal day for the week. Basically it's 20.00 for everything all day long (per person).....so that will be 80.00 for us to go. While we are spending money this week, we were planning on going on vacation, and we had saved a good chunk for it. Instead, we are staying close to home and going into Wichita every day and doing something fun and touristy that we don;t normally do. It turns out to be WAAAY cheaper than driving on vacation, hotels, food, etc....... So, we are staying close to home, but the kids are thinking we are having a super cool "vacation".
The rest of the week we are going to: the zoo, the science center, and out to a friends house in the country and playing.

Sooooo, my house is a pit, and getting worse (and yet here I sit at FV).....anyone want to come over and clean?

We're staining wood work today and watching the rain continue to fall. Have a faculty meeting this afternoon. yawn.........

I've knocked a few things off my list but got sidetracked by washing a ton of baggies and wiping down my appliances as well as the cabinets and moving furniture in the living room to set up our new entertainment center. Still left to do;

Dishes
6 loads of laundry
exercised
made lunches for the rest of the week
started dinner
made the beds
picked up rooms
feed all the pets
watched the kids
taught the kids
clean the toilets
and left to do is drop over..hahahah
that with no motivation at all just desparation....been sick for a week and nothing was done...weeeeeee

Well after the cleaning fairy gets done here I will send her over to your home. LOL Luckily today is pretty much a relaxing day. All heated up after speaking with the med clinic, anyway, was able to meet with someone, did my laundry, just need to vacuum which I will do in about an hour. Will probably make some hummus to take in for lunch this week.

Good luck getting your chores done. Just take it one thing at a time. Know how you feel. Last two weeks have not been keeping up with my chores since I was sick. Hard to get back in a routine.

We are on spring break this week, so I am spending time with my granddaughter today. I haven't done much housecleaning because she likes to be held.....or I like to hold her. LOL! She will be 3 months old tomorrow.

I had to go to the store in the rain.I wanted to plant potatoes.I am going to finish laundry and drop the cats and dog off at the groomers. They are getting baths and nails done. Have a nice afternoon!

I had a nice long nap this afternoon. It was raining out and I slept like a log.
Gosh I never do that.

I worked today then came home and cooked supper. That was about it. With dh being home he puttered around the house
