Default Are we ahead of the curve?

So I've been reading about prices going up and families having to do the b word--budget. I can't help but feel a bit ahead of the curve since I stock up on loss leaders, and plan out all big expenses. We don't really have a bad "latte" type habit in our house either. We take lots of walks on weekends with the dog for our fun activity. If I needed to cut back on some "luxuries" like my twice weekly can of Pepsi, I could. I wonder if I won't feel the sense of desperation and struggles other do since I'm used to being frugal anyhow. Anyone else?

I personally dont think the rising prices will affect us too much, just the gas price since DH drives 80 miles and day to and from work.

Other than that, I am like you, I am stocked up with food for atleast 3 months and I can cut things out if needed but right now I dont see a need. While i might complain about the rising costs that doesnt mean it will affect me much, + with that stimulus check coming that will go into a savings account to earn 4.95% interest, thus making some money come back into our pockets

With us we are frugal for long periods and then not so frugal for a few months or so.I think that we will be just fine as since we are back on track with living frugal not to mention this Thursday I will start stockpiling again, YAY!

My kids are my weakness. I was never one for clothes, furniture or other luxuaries personally and neither is dh. Most of our furniture is second hand,dh and I shop for our clothes at the thrift shops once or twice a year,we paid cash for our car so no car payments etc....I think that we will be just fine. I have a few things stockpiled for food but not nearly enough that we will last another month without dh having a paycheque.

I dont think the rising prices will effect you too much, not like other people who live paycheck to paycheck and in debt up to their eyeballs.
The biggest thing you will notice is your food and utility bills going up but other than that, things won't be in a panic state like it is for some who have not used constraint or made bad financial choices.
