I am trying to roll money from an old 401K into a IRA and having all kinds of problems and utterly disgusted at this point.... there are many problems arising since I am also going to transfer the money into another brokerage.

They are bogging me under paperwork, like....
THEY DONT WANT TO LET IT GO !!!!

M55FF: I went thru the same thing a few months ago. I started trying to get my money out in Sept. 07, and did not manage to get it transferred until earlier this month! (Mar. 08). You are right; they don't want to let it go.

But........ as far as what I am doing today: recovering from minor flood damage (all outside, none inside, thankfully), and continuing to put up new trim boards.

Missouri has had terrific amounts of rain over the past couple of days. We have flooding, but no where nearly as bad as in the south part of the state.

It's still raining. I went to swim this morning, came back and changed linens. I have cleaned my bedroom. I am expecting a visitor for coffee , then have the housekeeper coming to help me with the floors and the woodwork. Lots of dusting and waxing. We are trying to get ready for Easter.Have a great day!

It is so rainy here today. I have already taken a nap and would love to just stay on the couch and veg-out all day.

    Need to....

...Go buy a few flat bed sheets for the rabbit's cage
...Drop some Easter Cards off at the post office
...Start making a batch of boiled peanuts in the crockpot
    ...Do school lessons with DS
...Give the rabbit his eye ointment
    ...Fix something for dinner
...Get the kids off to church
    ...Watch Top Chef

Well it has been raining here all morning and we are supposed to have heavy storms this afternoon. The wonderful fibromyalgia is in full flare so I am not doing much. Do have to pick up my daughter and take her to a eye dr's appointment this afternoon and then cook some supper but that is about all I am doing today. Oh yeah, I did file my taxes this morning.

I am recovering from the flu....hit me hard Monday afternoon, slept all day yesterday and trying to get my land legs back under me today...I hate being sick. Luckily I don't get sick very often, but when I do, I do.

Well, my computer was down this morning, so I actually got busy before 9:45!!! lol I have since gotten up and showered and made a big batch of homemade caramels for Easter. After lunch I will pick up DS from school and then head home where I will bake the following: chocolate chip cookies, whoopie pies, and frosted Easter sugar cookies. Headed to FIL's house for Easter on Friday, and his lack of edible food in the house is frightening!! Will also be filling plastic Easter eggs with goodies for an impromptu Easter Egg Hunt with the cousins. I need to research a stock online DH wants to purchase. Will also be celebrating that today is the last day of school before spring break! It is much needed! Happy Easter everyone!
