Celebrate with me! :)
Dh has a job!
He went two days ago to apply for a commissionaires position (he is retired military) and they told him that he would get a call for another interview but they called today and he starts his course April 16th!
Dh can have as many hours as he would like and was told that he will probably be placed at the Quebec Airport because he is fluently bilingual. They also told dh that not to worry about having his part-time business as they will work around that too!
I am just beaming and so is dh
It will be one month on Friday since dh has had a paycheque. He won't start actually working until around the end of April but we will be ok because of our Frugal ways of living

Thanks everyone, I am still doing a happy dance lol.
I have kept a positive attitude but sometimes I would catch myself becoming extra worried knowing that we can't go on like this forever. If it hadn't been for the frugal knowledge not to mention support from here we never would have lasted as long as we have, for this I am so truly thankful
Now you know what I am thinking? I am thinking about how we will have money to put away for our future, emergency fund etc....you know why I am thinking this? I am thinking this because right now for the last couple of days we have had $2.35 in our pockets until tomorrow and the gas light just went on in the car today while I was driving home from work but......we have full belly's, a home which is warm and full of laughter and a hot pot of tea on the stove
. I am so thankful for what we do have that it far out weighs the what we don't have.
This is the life I want when it comes to family, we have been brought closer together and strengthened which we didn't realize we actually needed until the rushing around suddenly stopped. It is like the saying goes, "Stop and Smell The Roses."
I feel that this has all happened for a reason, there is no doubt in my mind.
