What Do You Do With Shampoo Samples?

Just curious...but how do you use up your free samples of shampoo? Do you use them up one at a time, or do you save an empty shampoo bottle & fill it w/ a variety of samples,no matter what kind of shampoos they are?Shampoo is shampoo,right?
For me I dump all of the samples into a bottle.

We get a ton of shampoo, lotion, etc. minis because dh travels so much. I just save them up till I have a box full and donate them to our local rescue mission.

We donate ours to a local charity that helps residents of a certain neighborhood here in our city.

I use mine up mostly when I go somewhere, often they go downstairs in the kids bathroom shower

I use them to refill the liquid soap dispensers in the bathroom and kitchen.

Whenever I get free samples of personal care products I save them up. Then when my neighbor gets ready to send a package to our military I give her the stuff to put in the box. The soldiers really appreciate getting things from home and it's one little way I can show my support for our Troops who are so far from home.

Good idea!!!! I never would have thought of that.....don't forget to wrap a rubber band around the neck of the pump...it makes it so that much less soap comes out with each pump, that and add water. (yes, as I matter of a fact, I AM that "cheap":surprise:

I use them! I only bought shampoo/conditioner because my coupons were going to expire and Walgreens had a great deal!

My mother gather's these as she travels and keeps them in her travel bags.. because some places she has found forget or do not have travel size shampoo so she will use it then instead of having to ask for some.

I give them to the local battered women's shelter. I also give the extra kids stuff I get like the box of kids toothbrushes I had been collecting free with coupons and sales.

julieb--how did you find the local women's shelters? I find one will tell you where they are---in order to protect the women in them. Understandable, but I would like to donate things to them and can't find them.

I used to mix them with whatever was in my shampoo bottle until one time when the combination of a few suddenly just smelled awful - not like anything was contaminated, but just like it was a really bad combination.
