Smile Yesterday was the first day of spring and...

it was snowing last night and we had ice on our cars this morning...

I know that a lot of you still have snow and snow is still to come for some of you, but here in the Willamette Valley of Oregon, it was quite unexpected, not unheard of, but unexpected... I am just glad it didn't stick around. Just thought I would share... LOLOL....

yesterday was the first day of spring and when going into my backyard, I find a dove has built a nest ( with eggs) at the bottom of my tree.

now this is going to be a problem since I have a dog and I have to walk past the tree which makes it fly off flapping its wings violently which could cause it injury.
It takes 3 weeks for eggs to hatch and another 3 weeks for the birds to be ready to fly out.

    grrrrrrrrrr.

We don't have "Spring" in Nova Scotia. Our seasons go like this:

    September to December -- Winter
December to March -- Still winter
March to June -- Winter still
June to September -- Road construction
