    Default cookies i made last nite.

    lol, i tried to make some sugar cookies from this recipe http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/reci..._73682,00.html without the vanilla extract b/c we dont have any and they came out good. sort of like a biscuit (used a cleaned small mayo jar as a cookie cutter). merrick and i are eating the last few up right now.

    Vanilla is pretty much just used as a flavoring anyway, so I am sure your cookies were good...note I did say "were good" since you are in the process of eating the last of them !

    You can substitute other things for vanilla as well. Almond extract is good, I add cinnamon to mine as well. Be creative!
