Gas Prices...again!!!!

This is just ridiculous gas was finally down to $3.15 for reg. unleaded...then today there was something on the nat'l news about some people in CA having to pay over $5.04 for a gallon of gas...now gas here is up to $3.39.

I would like someone to explain to me how a market could fluctuate so much in any given 24 hour period????

I worked in gas stations for 11 years and the only reason they do it....because they can! lol......it really isn't funny, but it's the truth. No matter what they paid for the gas already in the underground tank doesn't matter, they price it depending on the market. Crazy!

Gas in our area dropped to $2.98 yesterday. I haven't been out today to check. (probably doubled in price..... ha ha..... not funny....)

I paid 3;11 the other day. the prices are ridiculous.

Its $3.25 here and diesel is at $4.09. That one worries me cuz it cost more for the truckers so everything goes up

I was traveling from Houston to Dallas and it was $3.25. Just crazy!!!

it goes up and down here. I'm on E and have to get gas Friday, hopefully it'll be down

We are at $3.50/gallon here.

Here in Germany I pay 1.41 Euro per liter.

There are 3.785 liters to a gallon.

So, 3.785x1.41=5.3368 Euro

With the current conversion rate, one gallon of gas costs me $8.474.

I trade with any of you in a heartbeat.

Regular has been around $3.12 here, but on the local news at noon they reported prices will increase 75 cents this Spring/Summer. They said even though demand in down & there is a good supply, prices will increase. I didn't hear the first part of the story, but I'm think WHY an increase. We are told all sorts of reasons why it keeps going up & once these no longer apply, the prices still go up. Plus I have to fill up again after work!

It was $2.98 Monday and today it is $3.19 at most stations, but $3.05 at one other station. We have a couple stations in town that try to resist the daily fluctuation, but they can only hold out so long.
