Default Hanging Clothes On Line Is Out For Now!!

Does anyone else want to hang out clothes but can't because of the pollen? It's sooo frustrating to know I could be saving $'s every month on my electic bill ............. but my allergies won't allow it right now.

I remember way back hanging out clothes year round and I just can't remember pollen being as bad as it has been the last five or so years here. My husband says it's all the plantation pines that everyone ( including us) has planted for timber. I wonder...

I also wonder if allergies just get worse as I get older and I didn't notice till the last years so much. I live in SE Mississippi. Do any of you in other parts have pollen like a thick heavy yellow layer on everything now? When it rains, the rain running down in various places is just pure yellow. Ughh.

Anyway, I hope it subsides soon. The weather is gorgeous this past week! So I can't complain about that. I love the sunshine and moderate temps before the heat sets in. Just wishin for more I guess ... LOL

We don't have pollen yet. But when we do, I have to stop hanging my clothes out...but the worst thing is when the caterpillars and inchworms are out....augh, they get stuck in everything and I have to be totally unfrugal until they've passed.

We don't have to worry about pollen yet. But, I do notice that I have a harder time once it shows up...some days I stay inside if there is too much yellow on my car...dead give away that the pollen is dropping.

I don't have pollen, but I do have *beep* neighbor's dog that won't stay on his own property. My patience is begining to wear thin. . .

I have allergy issues that keep me from hanging out many items (towels, sheets & such). I like to hang out what I can though. I've noticed the pollen is just starting (about 2 weeks ago) & the worst is yet to come. I expect the next month will be full of that yellow pine pollen here in the Carolinas too.

The first year I had major seasonal allergies was Spring '99 maybe, but each year I seem to have less problems. I was so sick that year, but I've found which meds work & use those only when needed. Sometimes I have problems in the Fall or when its real dry (summer drought last year) & such. Really using my dryer to avoid the doctor's office & drug store is much cheaper!

Could you toss them in the drier for a little spin afterward? Can you tell I am an allergy idiot?

Uh, we still have snow and no grass so pollen isn't an issue. It won't be until around May or so.

I can't hang clothes when the grass is freshly mowed including when the neighbors do it.

No pollen yet. Will get it later on. Real problem is downstairs neighbor who smokes constantly. Sometimes I close my balcony door to keep the stink out. Yes, I am an ex-smoker.
